How the 50-point bonus works
Play all seven tiles from your rack in a single turn. You receive the word score (including letter and word premiums) plus 50 extra points. Eight-letter plays using an existing letter do not count—you must place seven from the rack.
High-probability stems
Stems are six letters that combine with many seventh letters to form valid words. Examples:
- RETINA + (S, E, L, …) → RETINAS, RETinae, etc.
- SATIRE + (D, S, …)
- TRAIN + (E, S, G, …)
- EASTERN + (I, …) for eight-letter extensions on open boards
Building toward a bingo
- Keep flexible tiles (R, S, T, N, E, A) rather than duplicate vowels.
- Track playable lines—bingos need space, not just letters.
- Learn 100–200 seven-letter words rather than every word in the dictionary.
Practice tools
Use the 7-letter word finder and bingo words pages to drill stems from real racks.
